I would like:
To make a web-based, free music "label" (infact it will just be a collection of musicians who want to put their music somewhere together and who are willing to give it to the rest of the virtual population for free) so that it can be shared with anyone who chooses to look for it.
Free albums, EPs, Single tracks, Remixes, anything they choose.
I hope to get a good range of musical styles from a range of producers and musicians, because we should not be bound and close our ears off purely due to genre. This is the worst idea.
Music is music is music, you either like it or you don't. But don't assume you will hate something purely because it lies close to the genre of "____" because you will likely miss out on some of the most beautiful, stimulating and interesting music that there is in the world.
I'm not suggesting for a second that the music here will be some of the most beautiful, stimulating and interesting music that exists, but hopefully some of it will please, stimulate and generate interest.
This is going to take me some time because I'm rather useless when it comes to, well, anything and everything to be fair, but starting a task and seeing it through to the end is difficult.
This will be very simple, I will post links to said artist's music that will be given away for free, to download from a simple source. There will likely be no fancy looks or charm:
I just want it to be about the music.
